Volunteer Opportunities
The ministries of Quinte YFC / Youth Unlimited are all volunteer
driven. There are many areas where you can help out for adults and
students and for various skill and experience levels. All of these
positions are needed and no one is greater than the other.
Our 3 categories of volunteering are:
- Associate Staff: this requires full screening due to direct contact with youth (ex. supervision & chaperoning at weekly programs or special
events & trips, leading a small group, driving &
transportation, discipleship and mentoring, etc)
- Key Volunteers: this is indirect youth work related jobs and only requires basic screening (ex. cooking,
accounting, office maintenance,
data processing, committee work, fundraiser, etc.)
- Other Volunteer work: this is not direct youth work and does not require screening (ex. prayer team, ambassador, staff mentor, providing snacks, newsletter mailing, etc.)
We welcome you
to DOWNLOAD and submit the Volunteer Package below. The Volunteer Package contains a letter that can be submitted to the Police Services in your
area to help with the costs of obtaining a check, the QYFC / Youth Unlimited volunteer application, a Police Background Check form, and a Sexual Offenders Database Check form. All forms must be completed and returned to us before any volunteer work begins.
